Book a Flight
Choose from four different introductory lessons — the longer the lesson the more you
get to experience the thrill of flying and the beauty of Lake Tahoe. We fly in the mornings because the conditions are better to fly. Generally the earlier, the better. During the spring, summer, and fall we start as early as sunrise and as late as 10:00AM. Winter we start at 9:00 AM. To make a reservation call us at 775.772.8232. A valid credit card is required to secure a reservation and is not charged until we fly or cancelation policy as listed below.
It is best to book a reservation eary in your stay so your flight can be rescheduled to following days if the weather is bad for your scheduled day.
- 25-30 Minute Mini-Introductory Lesson* (Local) $150.00
- 50-60 Minute Full Introductory Lesson* (Tahoe view) $250.00
- 80-90 Minutes Advanced Lesson (Tahoe Rim) $330.00

- Camera Service
Wing mounted camera photography (high resolution digital JPG pictures are provided to you on a DVD that can be played on any DVD player, plus pulled from the DVD to put on your computer, e mailed or print your own pictures. * Minimum booking: Two people for $150.00 lessons (Must be booked for same day), or one person for the $250.00 lesson. Lessons will be postponed if conditions are unsafe.
NOTE: Hang Gliding Tahoe has a 24 hour cancellation policy. When you book a reservation you are reserving a time slot specifically for you. Hang Gliding Tahoe arranges all other bookings around your time slot. If you will be unable to honor your reservation, you must let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can book someone else for this time, otherwise we must bill you for 50% of your flight’s cost. If you do not cancel your flight and do not show up, we must bill you for the full amount because this time could be used by another person or group. Thank you for understanding…
