We have a number of places to fly the with some of the training areas shown on the map below. When you go for the 120 minute, there is an opportunity to do landings at other airports shown.
This is official training time that can be used towards an FAA Private or Sport pilot license for weight-shift control aircraft. You are able to fly, you can be in control under the supervision of the FAA Certified Flight Instructor. You are instructed on the basics of flying powered hang gliders – one of the safest aircraft flying today. No experience is necessary. An FAA-certified instructor gives you a hands-on lesson in trike flying while you soar over breath-taking Lake Tahoe in your own personal aircraft.

Wing mounted camera photography (high resolution digital JPG pictures are provided to you on a DVD that can be played on any DVD player, plus pulled from the DVD to put on your computer, e mailed or print your own pictures) $80.00
* Minimum booking: Two people for 30 minute lesson $150 (each person) or two people for 45 minute $200 lesson (each person) must be booked for same day, or one person for the 60 minute $250.00 lesson.
Complete FAA Pilot Certification is available, price is based upon time involved (minimum 15 hours dual instruction and 5 hours of solo flight time for and FAA weight-shift control FAA license). The Hang Gliding Tahoe experience operates under “Carson Aviation Adventures” a full service flight school for airplanes in which you can become an airplane sport pilot, private pilot, instrument and commercial pilot.
